By now you know that Arpaio has launched a smear campaign against Dan Saban. We expect more of the same in the coming days. Arpaio’s attempts to disparage Saban’s reputation are cowardly. His lies are malicious but fall into the same pattern we’ve seen from years of his tactics: he makes up stories to draw your attention away from his failures.
The truth about Arpaio is that he thinks he’s above the law and he’s proven it with how he operates. We do not want a police state in Maricopa County.
Dan Saban’s experience and qualities have earned him a stellar 32 year career and the endorsements of the Arizona Police Association, the Arizona Conference of Police and Sheriffs, the Maricopa County Deputies Association, the Arizona Highway Patrol Association, the Fraternal Order of Police, and other law enforcement agencies around the Valley such as Goodyear, Peoria, Tempe, Chandler, Avondale, Glendale, Surprise, Scottsdale, and Mesa.
Dan Saban is more than “fit” to be our Sheriff.
